About Keith Da Costa

With more than two decades of experience promoting health care services in the community, Keith Da Costa serves as managing director of CareSparc Consulting, Inc. in Maplewood, New Jersey. Among his responsibilities, Keith Da Costa develops and implements business growth strategies, ensures business partners stay informed of company achievements, and provides leadership to senior executives and managers. Additionally, he identifies business solutions by creating initiatives that leverage company needs with existing assets in the community. On April 2, 2020, Keith Da Costa launched a program to address the issue of food insecurity by helping seniors and families residing in Newark access fresh fruits and vegetables during the COVID-19 pandemic. Under his leadership, CareSparc collaborated with Table to Table, a New Jersey nonprofit organization, to secure food donations. He also formed a delivery program with the help of volunteers from the community, including first-year medical students, to transport them safely to senior citizen buildings. In part, this required partnering with the Greater Newark Conservancy and other organizations. As a result of his efforts, CareSparc's COVID-19 Emergency Response Food Distribution Effort (CERFDE) has delivered more than 1,300,000 pounds of fresh produce and essential food items to Newark seniors and families since its inception.
